VS3135 Clone Movement Guide

The VS3135 is one of the most influential clone movements in the history of replica Rolex watches. It became widely used around 2019 and quickly gained a reputation for offering a much closer structure to the genuine Rolex 3135 calibre than previous solutions.

Before the VS3135 appeared, most Rolex replicas used Asian 2824 or 2836 movements with decorative plates. While those movements were generally reliable, they could not accurately reproduce the layout, crown position and architecture of the original Rolex movement.

The introduction of the VS3135 changed the market. It allowed manufacturers such as VS Factory to produce Submariner, Sea-Dweller and Datejust replicas with more accurate case construction and a more realistic movement structure.

For many collectors, the VS3135 marked the beginning of the modern super clone era for Rolex watches.

The importance of the VS3135 goes far beyond power reserve or accuracy.

Its biggest contribution was structural accuracy. It allowed factories to create watches with a more accurate crown position, correct case thickness and a movement layout that looked much closer to the genuine Rolex calibre.

Compared with earlier 2824 and 2836 based builds, watches equipped with the VS3135 offered a significantly more authentic appearance both externally and internally.

This movement helped establish the standard that later clone movements would follow.
